Prior to beginning any construction activity in Georgia and South Carolina, a dedicated construction entrance must be installed with DOT Fabric Underlayment, 2-inch size stone spanning a minimum area of 20-feet wide by 50-feet long at 4-inch thickness. The purpose of this stone is to help dislodge any red clay and/or mud from the vehicle’s tires of traffic leaving the construction site to maintain a clean roadway.

Additional Construction Entrance Services
Sometimes culvert pipes with DOT safety ends and sand-clay maintenance is necessary to provide access to a site that may not be in a typical subdivision. Additional erosion control procedures such as grass seeding and spreading of wheat straw and/or hay on any disturbed ground near the entrance may be necessary.
Silt Fencing
Silt fencing usually needs to be installed on your site along with the construction entrance. We sell all types of DOT approved silt fence material and offer expert silt fence installation at competitive rates if you prefer for us to install it for you.
